KNABENSCHUE--Country Club Style

 

Anybody know the origin of "Knabenschue?" 


Use a small stone Mug; Lump Ice.

1 lump Sugar.

2 dashes Angostura Bitters.

Fill with Champagne.

Stir well; dress with fresh Mint and serve.

"I don't know about you, but I could really go for some Knabenschue!"

There was evidently a dirigible airship called the 'Knabenschue' around 1917. The cocktail could have been named after the blimp.
